Waasland-Beveren is a professional football team from Beveren, Belgium. The club was founded in 1936 as KFC Red Star Haasdonk, in 2002 as KV Red Star Waasland and in 2014 as Waasland-Beveren (after merging with KSK Beveren). The team plays at the Freethiel Stadium, which has a capacity of 8,190 people.

The team was founded in 1963 as Red Star and was registered with the Amateur Football Association. In 1944 he joined the Royal Belgian Football Association and began playing in the lowest professional league in West Flanders. Red Star Haasdonk reached national football in the 2000/01 season and finished first in Promotion. Reached the round of 32 of the Belgian Cup 2000/01, but lost to Gent. After the first season in the Third Division, moved to a larger stadium and changed the name to KV Red Star Waasland.

In 2003/04 finished first in the Third Division and qualified for the Second Division for the first time. In its first season finished in 5th place and qualified for the final round. The following season the club finished in 4th place, but did not qualify for the final round. In the 2007/08 season of the Belgian Cup, Red Star Waasland reached round 16, their best result in the cup championship, but lost to Anderlecht. The following season the club finished again in 4th place in the Second Division. In the summer of 2010, they have changed the name to Waasland-Beveren and moved to Beveren's larger stadium.

In 2011/12 Waasland-Beveren finished second in the Second Belgian Division and managed to climb to the First Division for the 2012/13 season.
