Borussia Ball Sports Club 09 (Dortmund), also called Borussia Dortmund or just Dortmund, is a professional football team from Germany, which is based in the city of Dortmund and is one of the most successful football teams in the country. It was founded in 1909 and is nicknamed the "Black and Yellows" and "Be Fau Be". They play their home games at Signal Iduna Park Stadium. Eight-time champion of the country, five German cups and six Super Cups. The team has also won one Champions League, the Cup Winners' Cup and the Intercontinental Cup. Was the first German team to win the KNK (in 1966).

Dortmund has the biggest stadium in the country and also has the highest average attendance at matches of any other team in the world. Miker Zork has the most appearances for the club with his 463 games for Dortmund. Alfred Prysler scored the most goals for the team - 168 goals.

The team was formed by young people who did not agree with the rules of the Catholic Church, under whose auspices they played football. In the 1930s, the club adopted its current name. He did not win a single title before World War II. Reached their first final in 1949, but failed to take the title. In the 50's and 60's began to gain success and win titles.
