Known as Tottenham (actually called Tottenham Hotspur FC), the football team is from north London and is often referred to as the Spurs. It was founded on September 5, 1882. For the 2018-19 season, they will play at Wembley Stadium, and in 2019, Tottenham Hotpers Stadium is expected to open. There is an interesting motto (Audere est Farece - To dare means to do it) and a logo (a fighting rooster that has stepped on a soccer ball). One of his biggest opponents are their neighbors Arsenal and the North London Derby is played between the two teams.

In 1882, today's Tottenham, then the Hotspur Football Club, was founded, and the founders were theology students who studied at All Saints Church and were members of a cricket team called the Hotspur Cricket Club. The team became professional in 1895 (just before Christmas).

They have won the English First Division (which became the Premier League since 1992) twice, the FA Cup 8 times, the League Cup 4 times, the Community Shield 7 times, the Winners' Cup once and the UEFA Cup - 2 times.

The record for most game appearances for the Spurs is held by Steve Periman, who played 854 games for the team between 1969 and 1986. The club's record for most goals scored is held by Jimmy Greaves with a record 266 goals.

The biggest victory in the league for Tottenham was 9:0 against Bristol Rovers in 1977 in a match of the Second Division. The club's biggest victory is 13:2 against FC Crew Alexandra in the FA Cup.
