The so far unblemished Real Madrid host Mallorca in a match of the fifth round of La Liga. On their return to the elite of Spain, the team from Palma de Mallorca shocked their famous rival with 1:0. However, in the next three matches between them, the "white ballet" scored a total of 11 goals and easily reached the final success. Similar are the expectations for the meeting on Sunday at 15:00, which will be held at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Since the start of the season, Real Madrid have not won a result. It all started with success over Eintracht Frankfurt, which brought the team the European Super Cup. Madrid didn't encounter any difficulties in La Liga either, where they are the sole leader after four rounds have been played. At the same time, however, they did not manage to record their first clean sheet in the championship.

They did this in their opening match of the Champions League groups, in which they had Celtic as their opponent. The Spanish giant recorded a classic success, which, however, was not enough for the first place. There is Shakhtar Donetsk, who beat RB Leipzig 4:1. The German team is the next opponent of Real Madrid, who will visit the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday.

After two wins in the final two rounds, Mallorca survived and maintained their elite status. Compared to the previous year, however, the team is not starting the season as strong now. And yet it is in 11th position with an asset of five points. The only win so far for the team from Palma de Mallorca came against Rayo Vallecano.

Even if it's still too early, such victories can always prove vital in deciding the final positions. It is because of this that Mallorca can only regret dropping the three points in the last round. He then took a 1:0 lead at Girona in the 87th minute, but conceded an equalizer in extra time.

Karim Benzema was forced to be substituted in the match against Real Madrid during the week. Even in his absence, however, the "white ballet" looked extremely threatening in forward positions. The situation in Madrid's defense is a little different and I expect them to concede at least one goal again. However, it will hardly cost them points from today's meeting.
