Another interesting season at the top of Serie A. Throughout the campaign, Inter, Napoli and Milan swapped positions and were leaders in the standings. These three teams went through a phenomenal series and some poor results to be gathered in just one point before the start of the 24th round. I must note that the Nerazzurri have fewer games, and it could be key if defeat is not allowed today during the visit to Naples.

Napoli is performing best of all the teams in the Italian elite since the beginning of the year. The Blues started with a draw with Juventus in Turin, and then were steadfast in successive victories over Sampdoria, Bologna, Salernitana and Venice. The fact is that even a point for one of these opponents would be considered a surprise, but another victory is a success that should be appreciated. In these four matches, Napoli collected only one goal, which leaves them with the best defense in Serie A with 16 goals conceded.

Inter are also performing phenomenally in guarding the door of Handanovic, who conceded 19 goals during the season. Two of them were in the Milan derby last week. At the time, the Nerazzurri seemed to be in control of the match, but Giroud appeared on the scene and led Milan to three points within three minutes. This was the second shootout for Inter in the last three rounds, after finishing 0-0 as a guest of Atalanta in the middle of last month.

Inter emerged victorious in the match between the two teams in November in an unusually successful match with five goals for the final 3: 2 in Milan. It was the first over of five matches in all competitions. Today I expect to return to the matches with a small number of goals, although this is not a very common event of the season in Serie A.

Just under half of Napoli's matches ended with less than 2.5 goals in them. Seven of the last eight Heavenly Blues matches in the league have been marked by two or fewer goals. Inter may be the top scorer in Serie A, but have shown slight hesitation with just six goals in the last five rounds. In addition to the field, the two best defenses in the division come out, and the match is extremely important.
