Torino Football Club is from the Italian city of the same name and competes in the professional football league, founded in 1906. They used to play at the mythical Philadelphia Stadium, but today they welcome their rivals at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino. Nicknamed the "bull" as well as the "grenade" (because of the specific dark red color of their kit).

They have won seven Serie A titles. They also have five Coppa Italia. Won the Mitropa Cup as well as the Alps Cup. Also a finalist for the UEFA Cup.

It was founded by former Juventus players at the Voigt brewery. Took part in the first international tournament - the International Sports Press Tournament - in 1908, reached the final, but lost to Servette. In its early years they failed to win the championship because of the First World War. Won the Scudetto in 1927/28. During the period 1942/43 to 1948/49, they have become champions five times in a row.

One of the great football tragedies is related to this team. On May 4, 1949, all but one of the Torino FC players died in a plane crash on the outskirts of Turin. After that, the team failed to recover and even dropped out to Serie B, but the following year managed to reach Serie A again.

This was followed by various ups and downs, relegations in Serie B and returns to the highest level in Italian football. They were expelled from the Italian federation due to financial problems and later disbanded only to be established again with its current name a little later, initially playing in Serie B, but promoted to Serie A.
