Real Betis Balompie is a professional football team from Seville - a famous city in Spain. The nickname of the club is "green and white". They play their home games at the Estadio Benito Villamarin Stadium in Seville. Founded in 1907 and is the first Andalusian club to take part in the Primera Division and the UEFA Cup. It is also the only team from Spain to have won First, Second and Third Divisions.

Other meetings between those two teams were also dominated by violence, including attacks on a security guard, Betis goalkeeper Tony Pratts and others.

Real Betis was founded by students from the local Polytechnic Academy under the name Sevilla Balompié, which later merged with Betis Football Club and adopted the name Real Betis Balompié. Like most other football clubs, there have been many ups and downs, wins and losses, returning to La Liga after the 2013/14 season.
