Levante Union Deportiva - also known only as Levante - is a professional football team from Valencia, Spain, being the older of the two teams in the city. It was founded in 1909, then called FC Levante, and the name of the club comes from the beach "Levante" in La Malvarosa. Since 1939 it is with its present name. Their stadium is Ciutat de Valencia. One Bulgarian player who played a lot of games for the club is Vladimir Manchev.

Levante reached the semifinals of Copa del Rey once. Won the Copa de la España Libre once. Won several times Segunda Division, Second Division B and Third Division. There are also a few trophies from regional and friendly tournaments.

Levatne made his La Liga debut in the 1960s. In his first season won both games against Valencia and even beat Barcelona 5"1, but was still relegated to a lower division. For most of the next 2 decades they played in the second and third divisions. He returned to the highest level in Spanish football after the 2003/04 season, but survived only one season. Then returned to La Liga, but only for two campaigns, because due to financial problems were relegated to Segunda Division in 2008/09. Climbed back to La Liga in 2010 and reached the top of the Primera Division for the first time on October 26, 2011, but later finished in sixth place and qualified for the Europa League for the first time. They were relegated to the Second Division before returning in 2016/17, where they still play.
