Parma is a professional football team from Parma, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. It was established in 1913, but in 2015 it declared bankruptcy and ceased to exist, and then its successor Palma Calcio appeared in 1913. Playing their home games at the Enio Tardini Stadium. It is often called the "Crusaders" or the "yellow-blues".

Its best ranking was between 1992 and 2002 with a second place in the 1996/97 season. During this period they managed to win eight trophies. Three-time winner of the Copa Italia, won one Supercopa Italiana. Two-time winner of the UEFA Cup and has one European Super Cup trophy.

At the end of 2003, its financial problems arose due to the Parmalat scandal. This led to the collapse of the parent company, due to which the team found itself in a controlled administration. Declared bankruptcy in 2015, but then it was "reincarnated" and started playing in Serie D. After three direct promotions, however, in 2018 they managed to climb back to Serie A.

Many famous athletes played in the team, including the Bulgarian legend Hristo Stoichkov. Other famous players are Carlo Ancelotti, Gianluigi Buffon, Fabio Cannavaro, Giuseppe Rossi, Alberto Gilardino, Filippo Inzaghi, Savo Milosevic, Adriano and others. Carlo Ancelotti is the most famous manager of the team in their existance.

Hristo Stoichkov played for Parma in the 1995/1996 season, in Serie A. Other Bulgarian footballers who joined the team are Valeri Bozhinov (2009-2011, in Serie A) and Dimitar Traikov (2015 in Serie D).

FC Parma once met in a friendly match with the Bulgarian team Ludogorets, winning it with result 3:0 as host.
