Lillestrom SK is a professional football team from the Norwegian town of Lillestrøm. It is known by the nicknames "The Canaries" and "The Birds". It was founded in 1917 and today welcomes visiting teams at Arasen Stadium, with a capacity of 11,500 seats.

It is a five-time winner of the Norwegian championship, and in other eight seasons finished second in Eliteserien. Won the Norwegian Cup six times and reached the final in another eight times. Finished second in the Royal League 2005/06. Lillestrom is a finalist for the Intertoto Cup 2006.

The club has participated in many European club tournaments. The first time was in the European Cup in 1977/78, when they were eliminated in the first round by Ajax with a total score of 2:4. The following year played in the same tournament, passing the first round, beating Linfield with a total of 1:0, but in the second round lost to Austria Vienna with a total of 1:4.

In the UEFA Cup, the best performance was in 2000/01, when in the qualifying round they have defeated Glentoran with two victories - 1:0 and 3:0, in the first round eliminated Dynamo Moscow with a victory - 3:1 and a loss of 1:2, a total score of 4:3. But in the second round they lost to Deportivo Alaves with a total score of 3:5.

The best performance was in the 2006 Intertoto Cup.

It also participated in the Champions League in 2002/03, where they have played in the second qualifying round, but were immediately eliminated by Zeleznicar with a total of 0:2.

Also played in the Europa League 2018/19, but there the club was also eliminated in the second qualifying round, this time by LASK Linz with a total score of 1:6.
