Burnley FC is a professional football team from England and more precisely from the city of Burnley. Its history began in 1882. The team is one of the co-founders of the oldest football championship in the world - the Football League. The club was a two-time English champion and also won the FA Cup. Playing its home games at Turf Moore Stadium.

Before becoming a football club, Burnley was a rugby team called Burnley Rovers, but in 1882 the leadership changed both the name and the sport of the team. The first official match led to a loss for Burnley with 8:0. In 1888, the Football League was founded, with Burnley among the 12 co-founders. His first trophy was the Lancashire Cup. Before Arsenal played one season with 38 games without a loss, the record for the longest unbeaten streak belonged to Burnley with its 30 consecutive games without a loss.

Two times English Premier League champion (once when it was still called the First Division). Won the Championship (formerly called the Second Division and, later, the First Division, before receiving its current name) twice. A champion of the First League and the Second League once.
